Introduction


At Haribibi, we take the safety of teachers and students very seriously. All sessions will be recorded to protect both students and teachers from abuse as well as to manage any allegations or incidents of in appropriate behaviour if they arise.

Our Teachers


Teaching online can be different from face-to-face but adults will always maintain a professional relationship with children.


Prioritise the welfare of children and young people.


Promote relationships that are based on openness, trust, honesty and respect.


Adults will be in a neutral area where nothing inappropriate can be seen or heard in the background.


Provide clear and specific directions to staff though our behaviour code.


Support and encourage students who are enrolled, to use the internet and services provided by Haribibi in a way that keeps them safe and shows respect for others.


Encourage parents to do what they can to keep children safe online


Ensuring personal information about adults and children are held securely and shared only as appropriate


Ensuring images and pictures of children and young people are used after written permission has been obtained and only for the purpose for which consent has been given.

All our tutors are DBS checked.

Our Students & Parents/Carers


You should follow Haribibi’s safeguarding procedure if any online abuse occurs.


Students should also be in a neutral area where nothing inappropriate can be seen or heard.


Ensure an adult is within reach.


Don’t share personal information, such as pictures/ images unless given permission by your parents/carers to do so.


Do not browse and upload material that is considered offensive and if you come across offensive material, you should report it immediately.


Do not arrange meetings face to face meetings with anyone you meet online unless given permission by a trusted adult.
